NPR One is a whole new way to listen to stories, shows, and podcasts from NPR and your local public radio station.

It’s public radio made personal.

*A handcrafted experience.*
NPR One starts with the latest headlines then moves to a flow of stories that matter—stories narratives that increase your understanding, create connections, enrich your life and enliven your mind. All thoughtfully curated by hand, every day.

*Always learning from you.*
Just pop in your ear buds, tap your phone and NPR One starts flowing. And NPR One gets to know you. Skip what you don't want, or tap the lightbulb to say a story is interesting. We'll turn NPR One into your own personal radio station.

Love to listen on the go? Get the most out of NPR One with Apple Watch. Skip, pause, and search at a glance without even touching your phone.

*Personal, not prescriptive.*
Though your stream is personalized to deliver the stories you want, you’ll still hear the top news of the day and the stories you had no idea would captivate you.

*Connected locally.*
Even with the breadth of public radio at your fingertips, you won’t lose touch at home. Local news is woven seamlessly into your listening experience. Local stories, locally reported, are delivered daily. Community is everything.

Release Notes

This release contains a large number of enhancements and bug fixes as a direct result of your feedback!

* Sharing narratives that you heard on NPR One now include story and podcast images on social media. Now you can give your friends one more reason to listen to the stories you just shared with them.

* Search looks much better —your results will no longer jump around or keep reloading as you type.

* Google Sign-in no longer requests permission to access your friends or circles—we've never used that info, anyway.

* And we've updated the sign in screen to make it simpler the next time you sign in to NPR One.

* Was NPR One randomly signing you out of the app? Well, we've fixed that and you don't have to worry about having to keep signing in when eyou just want to listen to new stories.

* We also fixed a bug that was preventing Listen Now links from opening directly in the app.

* Search on Apple Watch is again working properly.

* We squashed a few Chromecast bugs.

* Oh and of course how could we leave this for last, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support - finally!

NPR One continues to evolve. Please join our Facebook or Google+ communities, or tweet to @NPRone with any feedback. Thanks for listening and for supporting public radio.
